Anti-detect browser for eBay & Amazon accounts

Keep marketplace accounts fully separated · By Jason Kulas, Founder · Last updated 15 June 2026.

Marketplaces are among the most aggressive account-linkers on the internet. eBay and Amazon fingerprint your browser, log your IPs, and cross-reference cookies, payment and shipping data. To run more than one seller account safely, each account needs its own isolated browser profile with a distinct fingerprint and a dedicated residential IP — that is exactly what an anti-detect browser provides.

How eBay and Amazon link accounts

  • Browser fingerprint — canvas, WebGL, fonts, screen, hardware concurrency, timezone, and dozens more signals form a device ID that survives cookie clearing. Check what your browser exposes with the free fingerprint checker.
  • Cookies and local storage — including third-party identifiers left over from prior sessions.
  • IP address and IP history — same IP across two seller accounts is the fastest way to get flagged. Datacenter IPs are themselves suspicious for sellers.
  • Account details — reused payment methods, bank accounts, phone numbers, shipping addresses, or even product photos link accounts at the data level. Tooling can't fix this — keep details distinct.

The correct setup, step by step

  1. One Alias profile per account. Each profile gets an isolated, realistic fingerprint and completely separate cookie/storage space — like a separate physical computer.
  2. One static residential IP per profile. Assign it inside the profile so the account only ever sees that IP. See residential vs datacenter vs mobile proxies.
  3. Match geography. The IP country/region should match the account's registered market and shipping origin.
  4. Never cross-contaminate. Don't log account A into profile B, even once. Alias keeps profiles strictly separated so this only requires discipline about which window you're typing into.
  5. Warm accounts up. New accounts with instant heavy activity get reviewed. Browse, search, and act like a normal user for the first weeks.

What an anti-detect browser will not do

Honest limits: it cannot fix reused payment details, recycled product listings, VAT/tax identity links, or a previously banned address. Fingerprint and IP isolation removes the technical linkage; the operational separation is on you. Review each marketplace's policies for your situation — multi-account rules differ by program and region.
