Shadowban checker
Am I shadowbanned? Run the self-check for Twitter/X, Instagram, and TikTok.
A shadowban quietly limits your reach without any notification — your posts still show on your profile, but they vanish from search, hashtags, replies, and the for-you feed. Because no platform tells you it happened, the fastest way to know is to check the visible symptoms. Tick the boxes below that match what you're seeing and this tool will estimate how likely it is that you're shadowbanned.

What is a shadowban?
A shadowban (also called a stealth ban or ghost ban) is when a platform suppresses your content's reach without notifying you or removing your posts. Everything looks normal from your account, but your posts are quietly excluded from search, hashtag pages, reply threads, and the algorithmic feeds where most discovery happens. The result is a steep, unexplained drop in views and engagement.
The signs you're shadowbanned
| Signal | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Search/hashtag invisibility | Your posts don't show in hashtag or search results from a logged-out browser. |
| Engagement cliff | Views and likes drop sharply with no change in your posting. |
| Hidden replies | Your replies sit behind "show more replies" / "probable spam". |
| No discovery | Content stops appearing in Explore, For You, or Reels. |
What causes a shadowban?
Platforms shadowban behavior that looks automated, spammy, or coordinated: posting too fast, repetitive content, banned or broken hashtags, aggressive follow/unfollow cycles, distrusted links, and content other users report. For people running multiple accounts, the biggest hidden trigger is account linkage — when several accounts share the same IP address, device, cookies, and browser fingerprint, the platform treats them as one bot network and suppresses or bans them together.
How isolated profiles prevent shadowbans
If you run more than one account, keep each one genuinely separate. Alias Browser gives every account its own profile with a distinct fingerprint, isolated cookies and storage, and a dedicated proxy — so each looks like a different person on a different device. That removes the cross-account linkage that gets whole sets of accounts shadowbanned at once, and pairs with human-paced posting to keep each identity healthy.
